Manufactured in the UK by Highgrove Beds, the Solar Backcare 6ft bed combines a chic divan base and a firm support mattress that is upholstered in a quality damask cover.

The Backcare mattress is well tailored and features a micro quilted finish, a process that sews the outer damask cover to the surface layers of fillings, ensuring they are held firmly in place.

At the core of the mattress is a robust open coil interior, a system made up of hourglass shaped springs connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, also known as a helical wire.

To further strengthen the unit, a thick rod edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring interior.

This wire allows you the use of the full width of the mattress and prevents border breakdown.

Supporting the mattress is our universal Solar platform top divan base.

It is available in a wide seelction of fabrics and colours.

The base is presented with several storage combinations and there is even the option of having standard castors or upgrading to contemporary silver glides.
