By adhering to strict BS7177 medium hazard safety regulations ensure the bed is resistant to a match flame and cigarette smoulder, significantly reducing the risk of fire.

Its waterproof cover ensures no spillages or liquids will pass through it, whilst its breathable properties allow air to circulate freely, resulting in a cool and fresh sleeping surface.

Its open coil interior is extremely robust and set out in rows of springs running from head to toe and connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.

To ensure a firm border and provide additional edge support, a heavy gauge rod-edge wire is attached around the perimeter of the finished spring system.

Supporting the mattress is a firm top shallow base.
