Its cosy winter side is upholstered in a soft and responsive knitted stretch fabric and boasts a 50mm layer of memory foam, whilst its summer side features a durable damask cover.

Both sides of the Twin Comfort mattress feature generous layers of hypo-allergenic fillings with a robust and durable open coil spring system sandwiched between them.

The open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring system, is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.

To add strength to the edge of the spring interior, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter springs.
