A lovely black wash is used to highlight the grain of the table with the teak itself reconditioned by time served crafts-people.

Perfect indoors or out … The integrity of the smooth finish on the table top is preserved using a technique called ‘patching’ - where thin pieces of reclaimed timber are pre-cut by hand and expertly applied to areas of the grain that were more deeply cut in the reclaiming process.

This process requires skill to perfect and adds to the unique quality of the table.

Mortice and tenon joints offer a superior finish and long lasting quality to the dining set.

To preserve the integrity of the teak and strengthen the joints themselves teak dowels are used as well.
