Gaz the Gorilla … A legend in the making … Meet Gaz our Gorilla garden ornament and somewhat of a mascot for The Garden Furniture Centre.

He’s been around for years and can be seen popping up on various chairs benches and even tables throughout our Showroom entertaining customers with his no nonsense appeal.

He’s moulded from tough resin to a pretty much actual size and very lifelike detail from the detail on his very muscular chest, (which beats when he doesn’t get his own way), right down his fingernails and hands.

Look into the life like eyes … These seem to follow you wherever you go meaning Gaz never misses a trick.

His favourite time of year is show season where he adds some character and fun to our Trade Stands at RHS Flower Shows and other events throughout the year.

His favourite perch at these events is the Apple Day Bed where, more often than not, he can be seen supervising the proceedings.

As you can see from the featured pictures he’s got a very intriguing past as well - he can be seen here having an audience with Henry VIII, ( probably the reason why he loves RHS Hampton Court so much today), and even as a part of the team that helped build New York all those years ago!
