Louis Poulsen PH Septima Pendant Clear Designer Pendant Lighting Description:
Considered to be one of Poul Henningsen's most refined lighting pieces, the PH Septima pendant was first exhibited in 1928 as a prototype at the Danish Museum of Decorative Arts, and has only recently been reissued by renowned lighting manufacturer, Louis Poulsen.
Based on the famous three-shade system, the PH Septima pendant has four extra shades inserted between the three basic ones resulting in a seven-shade glass crown.
Constructed entirely out of Italian borosilicate glass, the pendant emits a glare-free, downward directed light, while radiating a delicate glow.
From shade to shade, frosted glass alternates with clear glass to diffuse the light even more softly.
Hung by a brass ceiling mount, you can place the PH Septima pendant in a range of interiors, from traditional to contemporary.
