The combination of metal and glass establishes its consciously formal choice of structure and materials, but rather than hinting at industrialism, it borrows natural patterns to create an indefinable mix of nature and artifice.
The Nest 4-light pendant has echoes of more conventional chandeliers, as well as the ever-popular lantern style, but its cylindrical shape, broad framing bands and fine assymetric cross-cutting detail give it a unique personality, with softness in its rigidity and richly glowing light diffused through the painted linen effect of the opal glass.
