The traditional four-sided coach lamp is a design classic of the Victorian era that thrives today in the form of decorative outdoor lights and domestic wall lighting; now, Elstead has brought a clever twist to the form with this Wingate six-light polished antique nickel pendant.
Gone is the conventional metal cage; instead, the four glass panels are the dominant feature with their beautifully bevelled edges and gently curving crests.
A slender support structure of polished antique nickel clasps the panels from within, cradling six small candle cups that cast a glow through the gleaming glass.
The lasting impression is of a miraculously floating light.
