Flemming Lassen designed the Mingle sofa in 1935 for the annual Cabinetmakers' Guild Competition where it received huge compliments for its qualities as a small, elegant and simple design.
Wanting to create the ideal sofa for conversation, he designed the armrests to encircle the sitters, generating initimacy and transforming the sofa into a cosy place to relax and chat.
