The mattress is upholstered in a hard wearing damask cover with a hand tufted finish for strength and durability.

Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress to provide a firmer sleeping surface and ensures the fillings stay in place.

The spring system is made up of rows of hourglass shaped open coil springs, also known as Bonnell springs.

Each spring is connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as the helical wire which runs from the head to the foot of the mattress.

For additional support, the perimeter of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick rod-edge wire that supports the edge of the spring system, preventing border breakdown.

The mattress rests upon a solid top, platform style divan base and is upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics and colours.
