The Solar Ortho Dream mattress, at 25cm deep, is generously filled and offers an extra firm orthopaedic support.

The mattress is upholstered in a resilient damask cover with a hand tufted finish for added strength and durability.

Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress to provide a firmer sleeping surface and ensures the fillings remain in place.

The spring system is made up of rows of hourglass shaped open coil springs, also recognized as Bonnell springs.

Each spring is connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as the helical wire which runs from the head to the foot of the mattress.

For additional support, the perimeter of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick rod-edge wire that supports the edge of the spring system, preventing border breakdown.

We have teamed this mattress with our universal Solar platform style, solid top divan base.

It is offered in a range of modern colours and a selection of storage combinations.

There is also the choice of standard castors or upgrading to stylish silver glide feet.
