The core of the mattress is made up of small diameter pocket springs with each coil housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of any surrounding springs.
The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body.
An added feature is its side-stitched border.
Side-stitching is a true craft and a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes experienced craftsmen many years to master.
The process strengthens mattress perimeter and involves sewing the outer row of springs to the mattress border using a long upholstery needle and high-tension twine.
This provides complete edge to edge support and prevents the mattress border from bowing out over time.
