The Damo Table Lamp from Seed Design is a nod to Bodhidharma, the transmitter of Buddhism to China.
The influence is shown through the dynamic shape of the fixtures design and brightness the lamp produces from its wide shade.
There's a sense of calmness from the light as the shade balances even though it's larger than the base, it can however be adjusted by a 15-20 degree tilt.
