The Sibast No 1 Side Table was designed by Helge Sibast in the late 1950s.
He made it as a gift for his wife, and for many years only three bespoke pieces existed, handed down as precious gifts within the family until they found their present home with Anna and Ditlev Sibast.
Ditlev Sibast is Helge's grandson.
Originally, the side table was made with a black glass plate in the centre of the table top, emphasising the minimalistic design.
Today, the table top is available in both glass and marble, and the table comes in two different wood finishes that complement each other as well as allows for an individual appearance.
Sibast No 1 Side table celebrates the clean and minimalistic design aesthetics of the Danish Modern movement, a timeless design still treasured today.
The combination of wood, brass and marble or glass gives the table a unique, yet classic expression.
