Frequently asked questions
Will a tub chair fit through my doorway or up my stairs?
Tub chairs are usually compact, but sizes can vary. It's a good idea to compare the chair's dimensions with your doorway and any tight corners you'll need to navigate. Asking the seller for exact measurements can help you avoid any issues on moving day.
How can I tell if a second-hand tub chair is still comfortable and sturdy?
When browsing listings, look for close-up photos of the seat cushion and the chair's frame. Ask the seller if there are any squeaks, wobbles, or sagging, as these can affect comfort and durability.
Do vintage or restored tub chairs need special care or cleaning?
Vintage and restored tub chairs may have delicate upholstery or finishes. Always check the care instructions, and if in doubt, ask the seller about recommended cleaning methods to preserve the chair's condition.
What should I check before buying a tub chair for my living room?
Check for signs of heavy wear, stains, or damage on the fabric and frame. Confirm the chair's size suits your space and matches your existing furniture style.
Will a handmade tub chair look different from mass-produced ones?
Handmade tub chairs often feature unique details and slight variations in materials or finish. This adds character, but if you want a matching set, check with the seller about available options or additional pieces.
