This is a dining table accompanied by eight elegantly designed chairs, all featuring rich red leather upholstery. The table has a smooth, dark wood surface with rounded edges and sturdy legs with ball-and-claw feet; it extends with a 50cm leaf. The chairs provide a classic look with a button back that adds a touch of sophistication. Each chair is supported by gracefully curved legs that complement the table's style.
The overall condition is good, with some minor signs of wear on the wood, consistent with age. Notably, the underside of one chair reveals markings indicating it was originally made in Manchester before 1840 and has been reupholstered at least three times.
