Vintage extendable dining table with six matching upholstered dining chairs in a warm mahogany-tone finish. The rectangular top has softly rounded ends, a fine inset border line and a glossy wood-grain surface. An extension mechanism is visible beneath the top, allowing the table to be opened out when extra dining space is needed.
The table stands on substantial turned legs joined by curved end stretchers, giving it a traditional, formal dining-room look. Each chair has a matching timber frame with a tall, gently tapered back and cream upholstery printed with small grey leaf motifs; the same fabric continues across the padded seats. The set is arranged for six and would suit a separate dining room or a larger kitchen-diner.
Overall the set is in good used condition, with light surface marks and small signs of age visible on the polished table top and upholstery. The chairs look structurally complete in the photos, and the matching fabric is clean-looking overall, with minor marks consistent with use.
